Advice On Getting Pregnant

If you are a couple trying for a baby, you might have begun to wonder for how long it would take before you can actually have the baby. A lot of people have asked the question, how long before I become actually pregnant. However, this question is not one that can be easily answered for the women. This is because humans are not all equal, but unique in various details. What goes for one situation might not be the norm for another. The best advice on getting pregnant is to expect it. Everyone is quite different from one another, so the time before a pregnancy might occur varies considerably.

For example, some high school children might have been having sex with a condom for  quite a while, and the instant the guy tries it with a condom, the little girl takes in. does this now mean that everyone is supposed to get pregnant at the first trial? Your answer is as good as mine. However, if you examine most people you would find a sizeable number of people who have been trying to have a baby for a very long time, even possibly years, and they are yet to reach a success point.

In most cases, a good twenty percent of women that are trying for a baby might not even get the baby they try for in the first year. Studies amongst women trying for babies have shown that the time it takes a woman to have a conception varies along random paths from that of another woman. According to these studies, it is more likely for women to have a conception to have their baby in a month – that is they experience a pregnancy within one month of really committed trial for one. Another sixty percent experience their own conception after six months of trial, although it is often sooner than six months but lesser than a month. However, a greater eighty percent of most women usually get their baby within and above a year of trying to have one.

Of course, there is no general formula through which a woman may decide how long it would take before they can have a baby. However, there are some factors which could hint at the speed at which a woman may possibly have a baby. Here are some of the possible factors responsible for the variation in times of conception:

  • The age of the woman: For women who have passed the thirty five year mark in their ages, they should note that there is a decline in their ability to be fertilized every year. This means that they have a less chance of getting pregnant with each year over thirty five. In most cases, their fertility doctors often advise them that they should go for some counseling in the fertility department before they can try for a baby.
  • General Health of the woman: Your general health plays a really big role in determining how far your quest for a child would yield fruit. Therefore, if you want your chances of having a child to be better improved, you would need to engage in activities that would boost your chances of getting pregnant. Exercises, good yoga training and good eating habits could contribute to making your body a bit more responsive to your fertility dilemma. The fact is that the healthier you are, the better your chances of getting pregnant.
  • Your stress level: if you are constantly stressed at home or at work, then you would inadvertently be reducing your chances of having a baby. That is why when you are trying for a baby, you are often advised by your family doctor to take life a lot easier than you normally would. If you can tap into this wisdom and take a softer approach to life, then your chances of getting pregnant quicker would be noticeably improved.
  • The womans lifestyle: Your lifestyle has an effect in boosting or retarding your chances of having a baby. Therefore, if you are into the habit of smoking, drinking or taking drugs, it would be in your best interest to desist from those vices. This is because the ingestion of harmful chemicals such as smoke, drink and drugs has a negative effect on your overall fertility status.

It is generally advised that you do not bother on thinking about how long it would take you to get pregnant. Instead, it would be better if you channel your energies on ways through which you can get pregnant and conceive a child. Generally, it would be a better boost for you if you know when you are fertile, and the best way to go about this is through the use of a fertility calendar that monitors your ovulation periods. The best advice on getting pregnant is to expect it; work at it; health, physical, emotional and mental wise and most importantly have a fertility test together with your spouse before marriage.
